Population Coverage and Service Areas
According to the report of FY: July 2022-June 2023, CWFD is working in 06 divisions with different interventions in Bangladesh. The organization is covering over 1.5 million population and providing services to adolescent, female and male beneficiaries through our diversified projects in 64 Districts, 51 Upazilas and 385 Unions, 04 City Corporations, 2875 Wards and 02 Municipalities,
The programs/services of CWFD are as follows:
- GEMS education through schools, madrasahs, colleges, and adolescent corners
- Counseling: Psychosocial and Social through Alapon Helpline
- Accelerating Actions to End Child Marriage
- Humanitarian Programme
- Marketing Innovations Programme for Sustainable Health Development Programme (MISHD)
- Community Mobilization Programme
- Tuberculosis Treatment and Prevention Programm
- Nibedita Primary Education
- Nibedita Restaurant and Catering
- Nibedita Health Care Services
CWFD is providing two health care services under the brand name “NIBEIDTA”- Saleha Khanam Nibedita Health Clinic and Nibedita Mental Health Centre. These services are being operated from CWFD Head Office everyday except Govt. Holidays. For more information about these two services please visit the two dedicated pages for these services.
Note: USAID funded “Surjer Hashi Clinic” (24 clinics) which was the largest program of CWFD implemented since 1976 was handed over to the Shurjer Hashi Network on January 2019.
Service Centers/Project offices: In total CWFD has 40 project offices all over Bangladesh. Marketing Innovations for Sustainable Health Development (MISHD) project (USAID funded through SMC) has 20 upazila offices in 07 districts (Faridpur, Madaripur, Barishal, Jhalokathi, Pirojpur, Chandpur and Gopalganj); Community Mobilization Program (CMP) funded by SMC has 12 upazila offices in 08 districts (Tangail, Jamalpur, Manikganj, Barishal, Khulna, Bagerhat, Patuakhali and Borguna); UNFPA funded project in Noakhali has a project office in Noakhali Sadar and Integrated Tuberculosis Care & Prevention project fuded by GFATM through BRAC has 08 TB clinics (Uttara, Lalbag, Jurain, Gandaria, Pallabi, Tejgaon, Khilkhet and Wari) in Dhaka city. Additionally, Two services- Saleha Khanam Nibeidta Health Clinic and Nibedita Mental Health Centre are being operated from CWFD Head Office located in Banasree, Rampura, Dhaka.
